Seeta Patel Dance

About

The award winning company were in residence for 2 weeks in October 2025 for their Talent Development Programme, nurturing the choreographic future of Bharatanatyam in the UK. Seeta Patel Dance is a pioneer, creating opportunities and spaces of belonging for future generations by disrupting systems and hierarchies through performance and dialogue.

The Giufà Project

About

An award winning Social Community Theatre Project, celebrating 10 years of international partnership, joined us November 2025 to share theatre and music: performed in Italian and English, alongside the screening of a short documentary on The Giufà Project, and live Sitar music from Ricky Romain. A celebration of connection, storytelling, and the shared imagination of new futures!

Par Audio Trail

About

A collaboration between The Time & Tide Bell Organisation, Friends of Par Beach and The Creation Works took place in November 2025 to celebrate the launch of the audio trail, which brings oral histories of Par, St Blazey and Tywardreath to life through recordings of loved local residents.

A performance of the Imerys Mid Cornwall Male Voice Choir took place inside of The Creation Works to start off the evening.

Hah! Bumhug

About

A relaxed performance took place at The Creation Works on the 14th of December 2025 of a wildly interactive, funny, festive Christmas classic reimagined for the whole family! Written and performed by Lecoq-trained clown Ethel Darling with live music from Julian Gaskell. Directed by Daniel Richards of Owdyado, Miracle Theatre and Near-ta.

The acoustics in the studio are perfectly balanced for our live music and voices and we put a gentle colourful wash over our show using their lights which made the space even more inviting. We didn’t stay overnight but used the bedrooms to change and warm up in and they’re fresh and new whilst also feeling homely. The kitchen and toilets are spacious and stylish and well equipped. Enkindle

Dance Centred ran their Enkindle Symposium in February 2026 bringing together dance artists, health professionals and expert speakers to learn and connect through dance, creativity and health. Coming to The Creation Works was the perfect space for a warm welcome, specialist facilities and to be nurtured and looked after. Dance Centred is run by co-directors Sam Lawrence and Lois Taylor. Creating joyful and creative community partnerships they believe in the transformative power of dance.

Marlborough productions

About

We were delighted to welcome Emma Frankland and David Sheppeard from Marlborough productions to The Creation Works. They used the space during their week long residency to rehearse ahead of their performances of No Apologies at Falmouth International Arts Fest on the 5th March 2026. David, pioneering producer of queer interdisciplinary cultural projects offered 121 surgeries for producers during their stay.
