Seeta Patel Dance

The award winning company were in residence for 2 weeks in October 2025 for their Talent Development Programme, nurturing the choreographic future of Bharatanatyam in the UK. Seeta Patel Dance is a pioneer, creating opportunities and spaces of belonging for future generations by disrupting systems and hierarchies through performance and dialogue.

The Giufà Project

About

An award winning Social Community Theatre Project, celebrating 10 years of international partnership, joined us November 2025 to share theatre and music: performed in Italian and English, alongside the screening of a short documentary on The Giufà Project, and live Sitar music from Ricky Romain. A celebration of connection, storytelling, and the shared imagination of new futures!

Par Audio Trail

About

A collaboration between The Time & Tide Bell Organisation, Friends of Par Beach and The Creation Works took place in November 2025 to celebrate the launch of the audio trail, which brings oral histories of Par, St Blazey and Tywardreath to life through recordings of loved local residents.

A performance of the Imerys Mid Cornwall Male Voice Choir took place inside of The Creation Works to start off the evening.

Hah! Bumhug

A relaxed performance took place at The Creation Works on the 14th of December 2025 of a wildly interactive, funny, festive Christmas classic reimagined for the whole family! Written and performed by Lecoq-trained clown Ethel Darling with live music from Julian Gaskell. Directed by Daniel Richards of Owdyado, Miracle Theatre and Near-ta.

The acoustics in the studio are perfectly balanced for our live music and voices and we put a gentle colourful wash over our show using their lights which made the space even more inviting. We didn’t stay overnight but used the bedrooms to change and warm up in and they’re fresh and new whilst also feeling homely. The kitchen and toilets are spacious and stylish and well equipped. We will be back!"
